Karl recently directed SWIMMING WITH BUTTERFLIES for Invisalign, a branded documentary about 3x Paralympic swimmer Lizzi Smith and her intimate journey to redefine her identity beyond the pool. Earning 2x Gold Clio’s, 1x Silver and a Shorlist for directing, it’s been viewed 1.8MM+ views across social, is featured on No Film School, and is beginning it’s 2024 festival run.

He is also concluding his 2024 festival circuit with (DIS)CONNECTED, a sci-fi proof-of-concept for a feature that examines our relationship with memory, reality, and choice. Screening at over 20 festivals, including Austin Film Festival, LA Shorts, PROOF, and FilmQuest - the film has earned multiple awards including best sci-fi and best post-production. The feature script is being developed with writer Hussain Pirani (known for FBI: INTERNATIONAL).
